Improve thin content on 15 "crawled not indexed" pages (add 300+ words of unique content)

Add internal links from strong pages to weak/unindexed pages

Pages return a 200 OK status but display "not found" or empty content — Google treats them as fake 404s and won't index them.

View in Google Search Console
1.

Identify all affected URLs — export the list from GSC > Pages > Soft 404 > Examples

2.

Check /las-vegas-office-cleaning — this page likely has no real content or returns an empty template. Add real content or redirect to a relevant service page.

3.

Check all /post/* blog URLs — if the slug doesn't match a real blog post, the page renders empty. Make sure every blog slug in your CMS matches exactly.

4.

Check /product-page/* URLs — these appear to be leftover test pages. Delete or redirect them to /quote or your homepage.

5.

For any www vs non-www duplicates (e.g. sudzandsteam.com vs www.sudzandsteam.com) — set up a 301 redirect from www to non-www (or vice versa) and ensure your canonical tag reflects the preferred domain.

6.

After fixing each URL, go to GSC > URL Inspection > Request Indexing for each one.

7.

Click "Validate Fix" in GSC once all URLs are corrected.

💡 Pro Tips

  • Fix Soft 404s first — 48 pages is your biggest issue and it's been growing since April.
  • The www vs non-www duplicate issue is causing many of your "Soft 404" and "redirect" counts — fix this site-wide.
  • After fixing, GSC typically takes 1–4 weeks to re-crawl and validate. Be patient.
  • Use the "Validate Fix" button in GSC once issues are resolved — don't wait for Google to discover changes on its own.
  • Submit your sitemap monthly to keep Google updated on new content.
